Give people the access their work needs.

Separate workspace responsibilities from project participation. Invite the team, define roles, and keep permission decisions explicit.

Actual ACT workspace settings showing role permissions

Teams & roles,
in practice.

  • Invite people using expiring invitation links.
  • Use workspace owner, administrator, and member roles.
  • Create custom roles with explicit permissions.
  • Control site, asset, reporting, analytics, and team administration.
  • Set project managers and project members separately.

From setup to everyday work.

Invite the team

Choose who belongs in the workspace and assign the role that matches their responsibilities.

Define authority

Decide who manages people, creates projects, updates site information, or shares reports.

Set project participation

Add managers and members to the relevant projects. Workspace access and project responsibilities remain distinct.

A closer look.

Can any administrator grant every permission?

No. Owners have full workspace authority. Other role managers can only grant permissions they hold. Only owners can grant the owner role.
